Using Google Blog Search For Link Love

One way of getting direct traffic, is to make trackbacks on a blog. When you publish your post with a link to someone’s blog post, then you have made a trackback. The trackback, which has your blog’s name and the title of the post you just published, will then appear under the blog post you have linked to. If his visitor click the link then you will get instant traffic from his blog.

But sometimes it is difficult to find a blog post related to what you have written, or related to a phrase you want to use as a link love. Like for me, I have a blog about investing, there are times I have a hard time looking for blog posts related to the post I have written, or at least related to some key phrases or keywords. Most of the results that appear in Google are articles from websites that of course don’t offer trackbacks. But I have a simple solution to this problem—the Google Blog Search. I just go to http://blogsearch.google.com/ and type on the search box my query, and all the results will be contents from blogs, hence the name.

So that’s it, if you want to do some link loving, use Blog Search. Or, make your blog gets a lot of link love.
