Google had just released a new experimental service called Google Follow Finder. This is definitely good news for all Twitter enthusiasts out there. Follow Finder helps you expand your Twitter network by simply typing your Twitter username to see a list of people that you might be interested in following, or you can also get fascinating suggestions by entering the usernames of other Twitterers.

Google Follow Finder generates two lists based on the public social connections on Twitter. These are:

  • Tweeps you might like: Follow Finder starts with the list of people you follow, find others with similar lists, and then identify accounts you might also want to follow. If people with similar lists tend to follow accounts that aren’t in your list, we’ll recommend those additional accounts to you.
  • Tweeps with similar followers: Google Finder finds people with similar public lists of followers to yours.
