The Role of Google on Communications
Google is not just a Search Engine. It was also able to develop a variety of applications for communication and publishing purposes. Business organizations make use of these tools nowadays to be more efficient and productive. Some of their more well-known products include the Apps and 3D Warehouse. 3D Warehouse is particularly useful in supporting 3D models created in SketchUp.
Meanwhile, other noteworthy application from the company is Gmail. It is a free webmail that is known for it storage capability and simple user interface. It was first introduced as invitation-only software in 2004. Another is Google Talk, an instant messaging software which is also integrated into Gmail.
For business internet users and online writers, Docs is their product. Through it they can create, edit, and publish documents, presentations, and spreadsheets online. Docs also allow them to share their documents to their co-workers and friends, so they could collaborate on their projects online.
The giant company has definitely come a long way from its founders’ Larry Page and Sergey Brin’s Stanford University dorm room. It has transformed the way information is disseminated around the globe and it has redefined the way organizations do business. The company will always be associated with its search engine and indeed, it is a good thing because through its unassuming search engine, Google conquered the world.
How To Delete Your Google Web History
Your online searches is collected by Google Web History when you enable it, and you stay logged in to your account whenever you do your searches.
It collects not just your keywords and the pages you visited, but also the videos you watched in Google Video, the sponsored links you clicked, the photos you viewed on Image Search results. It records all your activities with Maps, Blog Search, and Book Search.
If at one time you just decided that keeping your search history isn’t a good idea anymore, and it is best to delete all tracks of your past searches then here’s how to do it.
1. Log in to your Account.
2. Click the ‘Edit’ link.

3. On the next page click ‘Delete Web History’.

4. Then it will ask you if you are sure you want to permanently remove Web History from your account. Check the box, if you are sure, and provide your password.

5. Click the ‘Remove Web History’ button.
How to Add Books in Google Book Search’s My Library
Most of the books I read before were just school textbooks, or self-help books. It was only when I decided to finish reading Edith Hamilton’s Mythology book, seven years ago, that I began to get interested on reading fiction books.
Today, I just finished reading Mitch Albom’s ‘For One More Day‘, and I added it to My Library at Google Book Search. My rate for the book would just be 3.5 stars, though it inspired me to become a great mother someday it was not as great as Tuesdays with Morrie. Maybe because I really haven’t lost a love one yet that I might not be able to relate to Charles Benetto’s feelings. However, through his story I learned to appreciate my mother’s love for me.
But anyways, the site really don’t allow a .5 rating so I would give the book 3 stars. 4 stars is too much. Here are some books I have added in my online library:

“My Library” on Book Search was introduced on September 2007. Since then, users can create and manage a personalized library.
If you have an account and want to add books in your library, just type on the search box the title of the book you want to add. On the search results just choose a book to add, and click the link ‘Add to my library‘.
After adding, go to your library page then began labeling, reviewing, rating, and adding notes to each of your books. The link to ‘My Library’ is found on the upper right corner of the Book Search web page. Also search your customized selection of books whenever you need them. These collection of books can be shared to your friends by sending them a link to your library. So this is the link to my library, and this is the link to my RSS feed if you want to be alerted whenever I add a new book.
I really don’t have time reading all the books I bought, so I prefer to describe myself a bibliophile rather than a book reader. And I really just love the smell of new books. Probably, I would own a real library someday with two thirds of the books left unread.
