What can you do inside your Gmail Account?

I was using Yahoo Mail for years since it is the most popular Email Account here in my place. But early this year, I started using a Gmail Account and I do not regret I have switched.

The simplicity and convenience of using Gmail is what I love most. I immediately see my Inbox Messages once I sign-in. I can also follow through how a certain inbox message has progressed. This only happens when I have been conversing with my contact under one subject.

There is also the search box feature, which I use when I am looking for a particular message. All I need to do is type in a keyword in the search box, and Google will search through all the sent and received messages.

Another feature I always use is the Google Talk inside Gmail. I can only chat, however, with my contacts who are also signed-in in their Gmail Accounts. Gmail saved chat messages instantly in the Chat Folder. If later I need to verify some details in our conversation, all I need to do is to look over my Chat History. If I am not sure of the date we had chatted, I will use the Search Gmail feature since it also searches through Chat History.

This save-chat feature can also be of great help since the save messages can be proofs if I need to deal with something legal later on. If you don’t want to save your chats though, you can change the options in the Chat Setting.

Lastly, another feature that I rarely use though, but may be beneficial to others is Starring messages or conversations, to show special status to them, and easy browsing later on.
