Google’s University Search

Today, while browsing the different pages of Google’s services (looking for a topic to write about), I stumbled on Google’s Special Searches page, and found there the University Search. I believe I had seen this page before, maybe around June last year, but I didn’t remember to use the page last January when I was browsing the websites of six US universities. I was looking for the application deadlines for scholarships, the requirements, and courses, but since the six sites had different layouts I got confused once in a while. If only I had use the University Search that time, it would had been easy.

Google’s University Search enables us to search to a specific school website. They have listed there hundreds of schools in alphabetical order. If I had remembered the page about university search, I would have just gone to the links below, and type on the search box my queries.

College of Southern Idaho isn’t on the list though, and maybe your school has not been added yet. If you want you can add your campus to their list.

Anyways, I abandoned my applications. I didn’t have enough time to process it, and I still had to look for a sponsor even if I could have qualified for a scholarship.
