It is pretty much broken English, but you can get some sort of idea what they are saying. Google says it is in Beta and I believe it. But still pretty handy. One thing I noticed was that the upper frame disappears -- they have another way of displaying the translated pages. There is even that nagging little "Suggest a translation" box that pops up when you move your mouse over words -- kind of irritating. I am using it for Russian right now.
