Google Toolbar Links You to Your Fav Sites
If you want your favorite websites just buttons away whenever you surf the net, then you must install the Google Toolbar. Yeah, it seemed to be a plain-looking toolbar after installing it in your browser, but it can make wonders!
First, customize the toolbar by choosing among the basic buttons you think you will often use. Basic buttons are the Bookmark, SpellCheck, Translate, AutoFill, Auto Link, Gmail and other sites, PageRank, Highlight and Word Find. You can set these on the Options button of Toolbar’s Settings.
Now, you are ready to add your own buttons! If you don’t want to miss Yahoo? Add the Yahoo button. How about Youtube? CNN? Flicker? WordPress? Technorati? Dictionary.com? Facebook? Don’t worry. All of these have buttons that you can add to your Google Toolbar. Once you have added the buttons of your favorite sites, you don’t need to type their urls or scroll down to find the url in the browser’s address bar.
And there are still more buttons available for you to add. Just search on Toolbar Button Gallery, and choose among the buttons that are:
- Popular like craigslist or weather updates;
- News related such as Reuters or Fox News;
- Tools like eBay or MapQuest;
- Fun and Games like the Daily Astrology Forecast, and Cheat Codes Galore
- Sports related like ESPN and SI.com;
- Lifestyle like the Barnes and Noble button;
- Technology related like CNET Download.com
- References such as Babylon Translator, and Recipes @ CDKitchen
With these add buttons feature in the Google Toolbar, you’ll never want to un-install the toolbar! Customizing is fun!
