Google Email: Keeping it for Good

When a search engine gives away a free email account, that’s one positive indication that the search engine has a strong foundation and that the user community will stay. Just like other leading search engines, Google does the same. Google offers a free e-mail account called Google Email or Gmail. What’s good with Gmail is that it’s FREE. They say that everything comes with a price but not for Google. It offers the best e-mail service for no charge at all.

Another good thing with Gmail is that people are exclusively invited for the service. This means that a user cannot just sign up for it. They need to be invited. This is one way of keeping accounts secure and avoiding spam accounts. When I got the invitation, it was worth the try. With all its functionality, I would never regret using Gmail.

One more thing I love with Gmail is that it is more liberal when it comes to space. I have my Yahoo and MSN e-mail accounts but the space they provide combined can’t even match the space allowed by Gmail. Gmail has 1000 MB of storage space. For someone who receives a lot of files everyday like me, this is one thing I am most thankful of for having Gmail.

I have my AOL account too and one thing I hate about it is, it deletes messages automatically. Unlike Gmail, messages can remain on the account for as long as you want. Plus the messages remain in contact with the replies. I receive a lot of emails everyday and I never had a hard time searching through them in my Inbox.

I might be canceling my other email accounts but not Google Email. I’m keeping it for good.
