Global Translator Plugin and Google Translator Widget
I recently blogged about the Global Translator plugin, and I received a comment from Sam that this plugin does not work. My friend Chris also told me about it. But my idea was, based on Kreah’s experience, it does work sometimes so still worth trying.
Today, I went back to the the author’s website and checked the recent comments, and I found out that there is indeed a problem. This is what the author of the plugin said on September 17:
IMPORTANT!!
Altavista has changed again its translation API so the latest version of the plugin doesn’t work.I’m working on a solution.
bye

That’s good to know since Global Translator is a great plugin that adds traffic to English written blogs.
Meanwhile, I checked other translation plug-ins and found this site that offers a simple version of Google Translator Widget. There are three ways to install the widgets, and I opted for the big flags as you can see on my sidebar. As of now, I don’t see any problems with it. It’s cool.
