How to Get E-mails from Other Gmail Accounts You Have
Opening seven Gmail Accounts everyday is a hassle. One is for personal use, while the remaining six are for the new websites I am managing now. I’m grateful to find out though that one account is allowed to receive the incoming messages from up to five Gmail accounts. I can even add email accounts from other email clients that support POP Access. Since Gmail is POP Access enabled, I decided at once which among the six accounts (personal e-mail excluded) is the most important. From now on, I will just log-in to this account to read mails from other 5 accounts I have. This will definitely save me time and energy, from not signing in and signing out five times more.
So how did I set this up?
Configuring the POP Access Settings
- Sign in to one of your Gmail Accounts you would like to receive messages from.
- Click Settings located at the top right corner of your account.
- In the Settings page, click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
- Enable the POP Access of this account either for all mail, or for mails that arrive from now on. And configure how you would like to handle the messages after they are accessed with POP.
- Click Save Changes.
- Then sign out.
- Repeat these steps to other Gmail Accounts you would like to enable POP Access.
Adding Accounts to Your Primary Gmail
- Sign in to your primary Gmail account
- Go to Settings and click Accounts tab.
- Click Add Another Mail Account.
- In the Pop-up window that will appear, enter the email address you would you like to get messages from.
- Enter the password of this account, and then choose how you would like to manage the incoming messages from this email address. Then, click Add Account if you arealready done.
- You will then be asked if you would also like to be able to send mail through that email address.
- If you click Yes, you are going to enter a few additional information and verify this email address.
- If you click No, then you are done adding this email address to your primary Gmail account.
- Repeat these steps when you decide to add more email addresses that are already POP Access Enabled. Remember that you are only allowed to add up to five email accounts to your primary email address.
Once you are done with the process, Gmail will now start getting mails from the email/s you just added. And these messages will automatically show up in your inbox, like the one shown below.
