I know some people who are using Firefox hate to see the search bar on the right of the browser, especially if they are not using Google. If you are one of them, I suggest that you just replace it with the search engine of your choice, instead of removing the search bar.

Some Firefox users do not install the Google Toolbar. It’s not like they don’t find the features of the toolbar helpful but simply because they don’t want another Google Search Box in their browser. But actually, it is easy to remove this additional search box.
